Caitlin + Grant Amsale Wedding from George Street Photography

Doesnt getting married on July 4th sound amazing? The guarantee of fireworks, a built-in party atmosphere and glorious summer weather sounds pretty wonderful to me! Thats the date Caitlin and Grant chose for their fabulous wedding in Boston, and it did not disappoint. The venue was the epitome of urban chic, overlooking the dazzling skyline and harbour of downtown Boston, and the wedding reception continued dancing into the wee hours at this perfect party.

The Ceremony

Thirty floors above the city streets of Boston, we got married in the modern location of the State Room. We tied the knot in the city weve called home for some time, one which has been the foundation of our relationship. As a surprise to our guests, when we  said I do, curtains opened showing floor-to-ceiling glass windows which overlooked the Boston Harbour and city streets.


The Reception

With a 180 degree view of the Boston skyline and harbour, the 4th of July sparks were flying both inside and out! The band had everyone on their feet, dancing, the entire night with beautiful scenery and beautiful family to enjoy the occasion.





Caras Dress Search

I started my dress search with the thought of Jenna Bushs Oscar de la Renta lace gown in mind. I definitely wanted lace and I definitely wanted something fitted. However, when I went dress shopping the dress I bought was the first one I saw in the store and the first dress I tried on. I tried on others of course, including the lace fitted dress I always wanted, but nothing compared to how I felt in my Amsale Bijou gown.

Why Cara Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress

Ive decided to sell my Lavender Prom Dresses wedding dress because my mothers wedding dress is still sitting in a box somewhere in our basement with dust on it. There are many people who want to wear designer gowns on their big day, but unfortunately arent able to afford the expense that comes with it. Instead of holding on to a dress and letting it collect dust, I want someone else to experience the joy I had of wearing this at a more reasonable price point.
